Event 3: Marconi Automotive Museum

The Marconi Automotive Museum is located in Tustin, CA and shows exotic cars while also helping children by raising money. I haven’t been to the museum since my high school prom, but now going back I have been able to see the beauty in both the technology and the art that the museum portrays. The things that I have learned in this class have given me a new perspective on the cars at the museum. I really enjoyed my visit because I am a big sports car fan and seeing these unique forms of art gave me a new outlook.

The museum holds the 1929 Ford Model “A”, which is the car that followed the Model T that was the first car invented. The model “A” was more powerful than the “T” and also had double the horsepower. The affect that technology had on society was instrumental in the development of life and with this new car model, this helped improve the quality of life for people.

When at the1929 car model it doesn’t look quite appealing today, but at that time it was a “breathe of fresh air” compared to the model “T”. The 1995 Ferrari F50 is one of the most appealing cars in the world and it can be seen by the stylistic structure that the inventor created. This inventor made such a unique touch on this car that only 349 of them were made. The inventor can be considered an “artist” himself because he carefully designed each and every one of these cars to his own unique specifications.
